The VELUX 5 OCEANS Race is a round-the-world single-handed yacht race sailed in stages via Cape Town (South Africa), Wellington (New Zealand), Salvador (Brazil) and Charleston (USA).The Velux 5 Oceans Race is the longest race for individuals in any sport: 30,000nm alone.
